A 15-yr-old boy has been left fighting to stay alive after he was ploughed into accidentally by an ambulance which was on a 999 call.
The boy has sadly suffered a severe head injury followig the crash that happened in Lichfield Road, Walsall, at 5:30pm Monday evening.
In an ironic twist, the paramedics from the ambulance that crashed into the boy tended to him until an air ambulance and other emergency crews rushed to the scene to help.
The child was immediately rushed to hospital in a critical condition. West Midlands Ambulance service are yet to issue a statement on the incident but it’s understood that an investigation has already begun into what precisely happened.
