British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has confirmed that UK schools will begin reopening on June 1.
Speaking today, Mr. Johnson said that pupils from reception, and Years 1 and 6 will be the first to go back.
The backlash against this idea was quick, with local councils from Liverpool, Hartlepool, Birmingham, Solihul insisting that June 1 ‘may not be possible.’
