Russian mercenaries are truly scraping the barrel as they are forced to recruit people with severe diseases to go and fight in Ukraine.
According to reports, the Wagner Group -a paramilitary organization once believed to be the pride of Russian President Vladimir Putin- has degenerated to the level of a disease-ridden rabble cosplaying as elite soldiers.
Wagner recruiters are now accepting convicts with HIV, hepatitis, and other illnesses as the priority is to bolster numbers, rather than hiring people with military experience. In other words, anyone will do.
Of course, the life expectancy of these unfortunates once they face Ukrainian troops is mere minutes, though perhaps a quick bullet to the head is a preferred outcome to dying slowly over many years in a county with one of the worst health systems in the civilized world.
