A Sudanese man in his 20s has reportedly lost his life after being crushed by a truck in the Eurotunnel.
The man was part of a 1,500 strong group that stormed the area, in an attempt to enter the tunnel. He is believed to be the eighth migrant killed since the beginning of June.
A spokesman for the company that operates the Eurotunnel has said that the influx of migrants has become almost a nightly occurrence.
It is understood that around 5,000 people, mostly from Africa and the Middle East, have setup camp around the area. They use this camp as a staging area of sorts from where they attempt to board lorries, trains, or ferries into the UK.
