Over 600 families have been officially housed in homeless accommodation for 12 months or more, according to the latest figures.
It is understood that 237 out of those have been in homeless accommodation for 24 months or longer.
Homelessness in Ireland is now at an all-time high of almost 12,000 people, yet the Minister for ‘Housing’ appears to still draw his monthly wage.
