Ireland is about to have the hottest weekend of the year so far as temperatures reach 17C. That is officially hotter than it will be in Barcelona, Nice and Ibiza!
The high temperatures are unusual for this time of the year and are a continuing pattern.
Met Éireann revealed last March to be to the mildest one here in the past five years.
Cooler conditions however, will resume after the weekend, so enjoy that sun while you can!
