RTÉ have confirmed that presenter Joanne Cantwell will replace Michael Lyster as the host of The Sunday Game.
Cantwell’s appointment on the GAA’s flagship programme, comes after the show’s long time host Michael Lyster announced that he will officially retire from presenting next year.
Following the announcement Cantwell said she was delighted to take on the role on the iconic show and to follow in the footsteps of Lyster, who she described as a broadcasting legend.
The new role is not the first for Cantwell who is a long time presenter and sports correspondent with RTÉ.
