GardaĆ in Co Kerry have sadly confirmed that three bodies have been recovered from the water near Coonanna this evening.
The tragic discovery comes after a rib upturned in the water.
GardaĆ say the alarm was raised at approximately 6pm this evening after the bow of the upturned rib was spotted in the water.
It is understood a rescue mission was carried out by the Irish Coast Guard and Valentia lifeboat crew.
However following the search all three men were found deceased.
GardaĆ say all the men are believed to be from Eastern Europe, they added that investigation is now underway.
