Aer Lingus’ Chief Executive Stephen Kavanagh has issued statement apologizing to staff after bogus claims were recently circulated on printed media about airline personnel ‘stealing millions of euro worth of stock.”
Mr. Kavanagh apologized for the ‘hurt and upset’ caused by an article printed on the Sunday Independent. He confirmed that the source for that article had not come from Aer Lingus.
Ireland’s flagship airline will now make a €25,000 donation to two charities chosen by staff.
