A Deam Come True: ‘Tiny Dancer’ Little Lily-Mae Morrison to perform at Baboró International Arts Festival for Children

There was some fantastic news for Galway native little Lily-Mae ‘Tiny Dancer’ Morrison recently as the brave cancer survivor was cast in the Baboró International Arts Festival for Children.

Little Lily-Mae, aged 8, who captured the hearts of the nation back in 2012, after she was diagnosed with stage four neuroblastoma, a rare and extremely aggressive childhood cancer of the nervous system, was handed the great honour of appearing in Alice Underground, with the Youth Ballet West.

Lily-Mae who is now thankfully cancer free will fulfill her dream next weekend when she will take centre stage at Galway’s Town Hall Theatre next weekend.

Speaking about her inclusion Lily’s mum Judith Sibley said “We are delighted, Lily-Mae is so excited she can’t wait to appear at the festival.” The delighted mum also revealed Lily-Mae is doing well, saying: “Lily-Mae is flying it.” “It was three years on October 17th that we were told she was cancer-free, and one year since she finished treatment in the US.”
