There was no winner of the main EuroMillions jackpot draw on Friday night, but someone in Macroom Co Cork os €500,000 richer this week after they scooped the top prize in the EuroMillions Plus draw.
According to the National Lottery the winning Quick Pick ticket was sold last Friday, in SuperValu in Macroom.
Meanwhile it is understood that Tuesday’s Euromillions main jackpot draw will now be worth an estimated €25m.
