In breaking world news today, Pfizer and BioNTech’s covid-19 claim that they’ve created a vaccine that’s 90% effective in preventing people from contracting coronavirus.
The company say that their results are much higher than expected after phase 3 shows results for 94 people in the trial. They’re going to have wait two months for a safety milestone which will be the third week of November.
They say that the normal flu vaccine is around 40 to 60% but that this new vaccine could be up to the measles vaccine which is 97% effective.
