Gardai have issued warnings that a number of routes remain in an impassable state this evening due to severe flooding.
The N25 Cork to Waterford road is currently impassable between Killeagh and Castlemartyr. Also, some diversions to this road have tonight become impassable themselves, and Gardai are warning motorists to stay away from the area.
Heavy rain is expected to fall across the country throughout the night and into tomorrow morning.
