“A walking Saint” – Tributes pour in for Brother Kevin who returns to Cork after serving 50 years at the Capuchin Centre

Tributes have poured in from around the country for the absolutely gentleman Brother Kevin Crowley who is retiring at the age of 87.

He has served 50 years at the Capuchin Centre and has personally helped endless numbers of homeless people reset their life and get back on their feet.

People are saying that he’s truly a walking Saint and that he is nothing short of a living legend and true gentleman.

Brother Kevin of the Capuchin Centre had recently confirmed that the centre was serving up to 900 meals per day to the homeless community and those in need.

Brother Kevin said that the centre were giving out food vouchers prior to Christmas Day for the likes of SuperValu to the value of €40 for people to get groceries and necessities for Christmas.

Brother Kevin did great work for the homeless community with many feeling that the government could take a leaf out of his book.
