Aer Lingus have confirmed that changes will be made to its uniform policy that will now see female staff being no required to wear skirts or make-up.

In a move that is part of the company’s re-branding, Aer Lingus say they are currently designing new uniforms that will include a trouser alternative for its female employees.

Aer Lingus say the changes are being made “to reflect changing dress norms and to better meet the needs of our guest-facing colleagues”.

Female employees will no longer have to wear makeup under the new rules which will be introduced this coming November.
