Airbus warns of ‘compulsory layoffs’ following ‘slower than expected’ recovery in air travel




Aircraft manufacturer Airbus has warned that it may soon implement ‘compulsory layoffs’, following a ‘slower than expected’ recovery in air travel.

The company is reportedly seeking up to 15,000 redundancies.

Airbus currently employs around 130,000 staff worldwide.
