ALERT: Parents urged to be extra vigilant after two primary school children are allegedly suspiciously approached in Irish town




Gardaí in South Dublin have begun an investigation following an alleged abduction of two young girls on Friday.

According to Dublin Live, the investigation comes after two primary school children were approached by a man offering them sweets, in Tamarisk Avenue in Kilnamanagh, Tallaght, on Friday evening.

It is alleged that the two girls were approached by the man driving black or navy Toyota people carrier.

Dublin Live say, the man apparently offered them sweets before telling them there were more in the back of the car.

The latest incident comes following previous reports of similar incidents occurring in the area.

Gardaí say they are currently investigating the incidents.
