Almost 3,000 tonnes worth of Kinder products has been removed from circulation due to salmonella fears.
The source of the contamination was traced to a filter for butter in a factory in Arlon, Belgium.
The contamination resulted in multiple cases of food poisoning across Europe, mostly in children, and millions of euro in losses for the company.
The factory in question might resume manufacturing next month.
