Ambulance crews across the country will undertake three further days of strike action following a dispute over union recognition.
It’s understood that around 500 ambulance crew members from the Psychiatric Nurses Association (PNA), will hold stoppages on Friday, February 15, Thursday, February 28 and Friday, March 1.
The strike action comes as crew members from the PNA feel they should be allowed to be recognised as their own separate union.
However the HSE have said they are reluctant to recognise the seperate Union as the crew members are part of the National Ambulance Service and any potential changes could cause potential disruption to working relations in the future.
