An Post have confirmed that all post offices will open an hour earlier this Friday in order for the elderly to collect their pension.
In a move to help older people An Post say post offices will open at 8am on Friday morning.
It is understood that a number of measures are being introduced to combat the spread of the Coronavirus.
An Post say Social distancing will be implemented whilst queueing and that all signature pads will not be used.
They also say customers will not have to sign for any deliveries during the outbreak.
