Emergency services rushed to Gary Majors’ home desperately trying to save him from a giant house fire than engulfed his property.

A pup is one of eight dogs who survived a house fire on Detroit’s West Side thanks to his owner, victim Gary Majors. He loved dogs. he tried to save the dogs, neighbours say.

Firefighters were called to Gary Major’s home in Gardendale, in the Green Acres neighbourhood, just after midnight Monday morning.

Investigators are looking into the incident to see what happened.
