Pornhub has been sued by 40 women who say that the porn website profited from a sex trafficking operation by a content partner.
The women have all been victims of Girls Do Porn, the owners of which have been charged with offenses by US officials.
Victims claim that Pornhub and its parent company MindGeek were aware of the allegations against the company, but still continued a partnership with them.
It comes as Pornhub finds itself cut off from customer payments amid an illegal content scandal and after it removed millions of videos.
Payment service providers Mastercard and Visa severed ties with the site after a New York Times investigation accused it of hosting content about children and rape.
