Another General Election Looming: Enda Kenny gives strong indication that another Election is coming after he tells fellow ministers that today would be the last time they would meet

The country could soon be set for yet another General Election after Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny heightened the the speculation by telling his fellow Cabinet ministers today would be the last time they would meet.

The speculation surrounding the possibility of another election increased in recent days and now it seems likely thar it will indeed happen, due to the fact neither Fine Gael or Fianna Fail can agree on the highly contested issue of Irish Water. According to various sources in the Dail, Mr Kenny made the rather bizarre move by thanking all his fellow ministers for their hard work, before making special mention to all those ministers who had lost their seats in February.

The acting Taoiseach’s also reportedly told his fellow ministers that the toll of the recent politcal impasse has been ‘very challenging’ but stating that all ministers from the previous Government will be remembered for their dedication to the State. Mr Kenny also said stated that “history will be kind” to them in their work in saving the country in 2011 and bringing it back from the economic cliff.

Mr Kenny’s comments have now led to many believing that no agreement can be reached with their arch rivals Fianna Fail and that the country must once again go to the polling station and vote for a new government.
