Activists and campaigners who oppose vaccinations, such as the controversial HPV vaccine, have claimed that the so-called measles outbreak in New York is nothing short of propaganda.
The city of New York recently had allegedly the worst measles outbreak in the last 25 years.
A record figure of almost 400 cases has been recorded in the New York area since October 2018, with most cases detected among children living in Orthodox Jewish communities.
Authorities are saying that a combination of “myths, fear, and malicious disinformation spread by anti-vaccine groups” are to blame for the crisis.
However this has been heavily refuted with anti-vax campaigners claiming that the latest ‘outbreak’ is just propaganda to push for mandatory vaccinations, including here in Ireland where Simon Harris wants every Irish child to have a compulsory vaccination.
