The Northumberland apartments in Love Lane, Dublin 2, were evacuated this afternoon after a fire broke out on the fifth floor at around 2:30pm.
A number of units from the Dublin Fire Brigade were in attendance, and the fire was brought under control just after 3pm.
The cause of the fire has not yet been identified.
