Gardai in Co Wicklow are investigating a horrific burglary on elderly couple who were left severely traumatised after a number of men broke into their home, tied them up and robbed them on Monday night.
It is believed that three men forced their way into a house on Briarwood, Vevay Road in Bray, Co Wicklow between the hours of 8pm and 9pm on Monday night. It is then understood that the elderly couple, thought to be in their 80s, were then tied up and threatened whilst the attackers ransacked their home searching for valuables.
Gardai say that a small amount of jewellery was taken during the disgraceful robbery. Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to this appalling crime to come forward and contact them at Bray station on 01 6665300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
