Apple is latest big tech company to ban Parler. Others include Google and Amazon. Amazon was the hosting company used to host the Parler service.
Many online believe that a lack of moderation is blamed for the banning however these actions are aligned with the banning of President Trump from Twitter earlier in the week.
Millions of US conservatives had already deleted Twitter and moved to Parler as it is seen as the last bastion of free speech in America. Social media users have been saying this is akin to the digital burning of books that took place in Nazi Germany.
