It was the dramatic moment when the armed police jumped on a group of people fighting in front of a pub. Six men and two women were arrested after police descended on the White Horse Pub in the historic village of Otham in Kent, UK. Police were called by witnesses who reported seeing a possible weapon just before midnight. Images and videos posted on social media show armed officers in the town near Maidstone.

The suspects were arrested on suspicion of a scrum and detained.
It’s still not known whether the group of 8 people were in the pub or not.
No serious injuries have been reported and no weapons have been found, Kent police said. Police have asked witnesses to come forward. Like Ireland, pubs across the UK closed during the national government shutdown to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
