Gardai stopped and searched two men in a busy Cork street earlier today. One of the men complied with Gardai’s orders, but the second one did not, and turned violent.
Gardai called for backup, and the armed support unit was there within minutes. The unruly man was quickly subdued.
Both men were arrested and subsequently taken to Bridewell Garda Station.
