The death toll in Gaza has increased to 11,240, reports RTE.

The spokesman released that these numbers included 4,630 children and 3,130 women.

Israeli tanks are considered at the gates of a hospital in the Gaza Strip, a key target in the battle for control of the late Gaza Strip, where patients, including newborns, were dying from lack of fuel.

Gaza Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Kidra, who is at Al Shifa Hospital, said 32 patients, three of them newborns, died in the last 32 days, reports RTE.

At least 650 patients are still hospitalized and desperately trying to be evacuated to other medical facilities by the Red Cross or other neutral agencies.

Israel claims that the hospital is located in the tunnels, the headquarters of Hamas fighters are visible there, and that the gyros are designed as shields and serve the group of fighters.

“The tanks are in front of the hospital. We are under full blockade. It’s a totally civilian area. Only hospital facilities, hospital patients, doctors and other civilians stay in the hospital. Someone should stop this,” a surgeon at the hospital, Dr Ahmed El Mokhallalati, said, reports RTE.

“They bombed the (water) tanks, they bombed the water wells, they bombed the oxygen pump as well. They bombed everything in the hospital. So we are hardly surviving. We tell everyone, that the hospital is no more a safe place for treating patients. We are harming patients by keeping them here,” he added, reports RTE.
