A minimum of eight people, including a very small child have been badly injured from a parcel bomb that was filled with nails, screws and bolts this evening in the city of Lyon, France.
It’s understood that authorities say the incident occurred at 5:35pm French time when a self-improvised explosive device exploded outside bakery Bricohe Doree on Victor Hugo Street.
According to Le Progres, a man was recorded on CCTV outside the bakery roughly 2 minutes before the bomb exploded.
Those injured have mainly lower limb injuries and were all rushed to hospital. Authorities have launched an investigation into the motive of the evil act.
