At least one person is dead after a shooting incident in the Alpine High School, in the eponymous west Texas city.
Local reports say that a female student shot dead a fellow female student, then reportedly took her own life.
The school was evacuated and put into lockdown as per procedure.
No active shooter situation currently exists at the location.
