Australian police officer gets charged with murdering two missing Sydney men

Following the discovery of blood inside the boyfriend’s residence, a Sydney police officer has been charged with the murders of his ex-boyfriend and another guy, both of whom had been missing for days, reports RTE.

According to authorities, the 28-year-old senior policeman was taken into custody after entering a Bondi police station, which is located near the beach.

As is typical, the police did not identify the culprit, Beau Lamarre, as reported by the media.

A Beaumont Lamarre-Condon first appearance hearing was set early this morning by a local court, reports RTE.

The men’s remains have not yet been found, according to detectives, and their cause of death is unknown.

According to police, on Monday, the officer killed Jesse Baird and Luke Davies, who the suspect had dated up until a few months prior, and that evening, he rented a white van to dispose of the bodies.

“It’s really important that we do locate the bodies, not only for the cause of death but the answers for the family, because they are still grieving,” detective superintendent Daniel Doherty told a press conference, reports RTE.
