According to Australian scientists, due to rapid evolution, more and more people are born without wisdom teeth and with an additional artery in their arm.
Dr. Teghan Lucas of Adelaide’s Flinders University has discovered that humans go through microevolution that allows us to observe and undergo evolutionary changes in a short period of time.
She said faces get much shorter with smaller jaws, which means there is less room for teeth.
“A lot of people thought humans have stopped evolving. But our study shows we are still evolving – faster than at any point in the past 250 years.
“A lot of people are just being born without wisdom teeth,” reports the Telegraph.
It’s good news for babies who do not have wisdom teeth as they do not have to endure the possible nuisance of getting them sorted if they give hassle in later life.
