Police in the North have arrested a man in connection with attacks on a number of women in Belfast earlier this week.
It is understood the arrest comes after a number of women were assaulted and stabbed in the South of the city.
Police investigating the incident say a man aged in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the incidents which occurred on Monday night.
They say the man is currently being questioned at Musgrave Police Station.
