Back to work: Government pledges to deliver 266,000 new jobs over the next half decade

It is understood that the Coalition will today unveil plans to promote the creation of 266,000 new jobs over the next five years.

According to the proposals, deemed “Enterprise 2025”, quality of life will be central to the plan, aiming to attract skilled workers to the region of their choice.

One of the plan’s key goals is “to make Ireland “the best place to succeed in business delivering sustainable employment and higher standards of living for all”.

‘Enterprise 2025’ will be launched by Taoiseach Enda Kenny, Tánaiste Joan Burton and Jobs Minister Richard Bruton later today.
