The security arrangements at Leinster House will be reviewed after some threats to an unspecified member of the house were made.
New security measures include scanning all visitors, increased lighting and a limit of five visitors per member.
It is understood that the new arrangements will be made on foot of threats made to a TD as she walking to her car last week.
