One of SuperValu’s stores in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, will close its doors for the last time today, with the loss of 46 jobs.
Difficult trading conditions have been blamed for the closure, though exorbitant commercial rates have reportedly played a part also.
A second SuperValu store in Clonmel will remain trading for the immediate future at least.
