Bank Holiday weather: Unsettled conditions during Saturday, but great improvement on Sunday and Monday

The May Bank Holiday weather is set to be a mixed bag, with unsettled conditions on Saturday, but better weather on Sunday and Monday.

Saturday is forecast to be mostly dry, with some showers across northern coastal areas, and a dull afternoon and early evening. Brighter conditions will develop late in the day however, leading into a dry and mostly sunny Sunday with temperatures of up to 17C.

Monday is expected to bring the best of the Bank Holiday weather, with long sunny spells and mild temperatures of up to 18C.
