In an interview on CBS Former U.S President Bill Clinton has said that former President Barack Obama was given as easy time by the media because he was part black.
Barack Obama was the first mixed race U.S President and enjoyed a never-ending honeymoon with the establishment media in both the U.S and abroad but Former President Clinton has said this was due to the fact “they liked having the first African-American president.”
This sentiment has been echoed by other former Presidents.
Former President Jimmy Carter, who supported Obama’s presidential campaign and later Hillary Clintons, stated that no President ever had such an easy time from the Press as Barack Obama and no president has ever faced such a hostile establishment media as President Trump.
