The “beast from the east” is said to see daytime temperatures plunge to -2c and get even colder at night.
Ireland and Britain are set to be hit by Siberian blast thay will see temperatures plunge to as low as -7c in some high lying areas.
According to Irish Weather Online (IWO) the cold snap which will come after a reasonably mild spell and will bring heavy snowfall and bitterly cold conditions that will see temperatures below zero during the day.
The mild weather is set to break from tomorrow and will daytime temperatures drop to below zero from Monday.
It is expected that the East of the country will be the worst affected with temperatures expected to plummet to -2c during the day, whilst they are expected to drop even further overnight with lows of -7c expected in many places
