
Four people are confirmed dead after an explosion flattened a building in Leicester city yesterday evening.
A huge blast ripped through commercial premises sited on Hinckley Road at about 7pm on Sunday evening.
Six firefighting engines and other emergency vehicles attended the scene.
Four people also remain in hospital, one of them with serious injuries, and authorities say that there may be more victims trapped under the rubble.
The cause of the explosion has not been determined.
