Vicky Phelan was interviewed on Friday night’s Late Late Show about how she’s going to America by herself for up to 6 months to start a new drug trial.
Vicky spoke candidly about having five tumours that she’s trying to keep at bay and shrink as best as possible in an effort to get into remission.
She heads out to America on Sunday, leaving her two young children, and will be on her own for at least 2 months if she gets accepted for the trial.
Vicky said she fears coming back in a coffin and that’s the main reason she’s finding it hard to leave on Sunday.
It’s fair to say that the country is behind her and wish her well.
