Since the Biden administration rolled back boarder controls and signalled to would-be illegal immigrants that would not face deportation tens of thousands of Mexican and Central American migrants have overwhelmed the US border.
Thousands of children are now detained in immigration control centres dwarfing any crisis that took place during the Trump administration yet corporate media outlets as well as activists and Democrats have essentially ignored the situation.
Now, the Biden Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said during a conversation with ICE employees last week that the administration was considering finishing “gaps in the wall.”
It is unclear however, if Democrats, celebrities and the corporate media will consider it racist any longer to protect the country’s borders now that action is being taken by Biden rather than Trump.
