Rugby player Billy Holland and his wife Lanlih spoke candidly on the Late Late Show about their beloved daughter Emmeline who was very sick when she was born.
The couple decided that their daughter should live to the fullest and from being in and out of hospital, they tried to do everything to could to have a normal life.
Emmeline fought as best she could and was treated at Cork University Hospital where staff went out of their way to try and save her but tragically she died in her mother’s arms.
The couple wanted to emphasis just how helpful, loving and caring the medical staff were. Most of the entire show was dedicated to the amazing works that hospital staff give to their patients, in particular to their young patients.
The couple announced the good news that Lanlih is expecting Emmeline’s younger brother or sister next month.
