In one of the most interesting stories to come from the Oscars this year, a man has been arrested after stealing Frances McDormand’s Oscar after the awards ceremony on Sunday night.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that Terry Bryant was arrested for grand theft, after the statuette went missing from the Governor’s Ball and he was said to be found in position of the Best Actress Oscar.
The 47-yr old was charged and has had bail set at $20,000, he will attend court in the coming weeks.
It’s understood that the statue has since been returned to the best actress winner.
