The Blue Steel look is back for Zoolander 2 with Ben Stiller reprising his role as male model Derek Zoolander in the follow up to the comedy favourite that caused a stir when it was released in 2001.

Fifteen years have passed but the wait is finally over and the long delayed sequel is out this month. Joining Stiller once more is Owen Wilson as Hansel, as well as Will Ferrell as the dastardly Mugatu.

In the film the fashion world has changed, with Zoolander and Hansel relics of an earlier time. The biggest supermodel is now ‘All’ who is played by Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch.

In it Derek and Hansel are modelling again when an opposing company attempts to take them out from the business. Somebody is trying to kill the world’s most beautiful people and it is up to the duo to stop it. There is sure to be plenty of head scratching from them as they muddle their way through. Kristen Wiig is playing Alexanya Atoz while Penelope Cruz is former bikini mode Valentina. Christine Taylor is back as Matilda Jeffries.

The criminal mastermind behind it all is none other than Will Ferrell as Mugatu from the first film who has just been released from prison. “Prison has changed me. I am bad to the core now,” he says in the trailer.

The first film was a huge hit and has hilarious lines that became instantly quotable.

Ben Stiller (50) and Owen Wilson (47) have shared the screen a number of times now in such films as the Night in the Museum trilogy; Meet the Parents, and Starsky and Hutch. They have good chemistry onscreen and are sure to be on top form for the new film. Fifteen years after the last one the two look exactly the same as they did back then! The catwalk will never look the same again.

They recently got a great reaction after posing as mannequins in a shop window in Rome as part of their promotion drive for the new film, proving that the viewing public is ready and waiting for the next instalment. Macaulay Culkin is in it also playing himself, as is Justin Bieber who meets a grisly end in the trailer. There is sure to be a few other star cameos to look out for also so keep your eyes peeled.
