Bomb disposal unit called out to deal with ‘suspicious device’ in Dublin




The bomb squad were called out to Dublin earlier today, to deal with a ‘suspicious device’.

An area around Springdale Road in Edenmore, near Raheny, was sealed off at around 5pm.

Locals reported hearing a loud bang shortly afterwards. No injuries were reported.

The incident is believed to be linked to a local feud between rival gangs involved in the drug trade.
