Boris Johnson clambers towards ensuring the UK have a General Election pre-Brexit

It’s been one of the most historical weeks in UK parliament history but nonetheless, Boris Johnson is still firmly at the helm.

Johnson’s own brother Jo Johnson turned his back on the Prime Minister but the steadfast Leave politician is adamant he can still get a General Election and finally get Britain out of the European Union once and for all.

Make no mistake, Boris Johnson is under major pressure in the UK to deliver something, anything that will finally bring Brexit to a conclusion.

If there was a General Election, Johnson would like to get an overall majority which would ensure he would get his way in terms of what the outcome of Brexit will finally be. If that was the case, and the DUP wouldn’t have a leg to stand on in terms of demanding what they want out of Brexit.

If indeed it transpire that Johnson managed to get an overall majority, he could force through a border in the Irish Sea which would prevent any physical land border from being implemented on the County Louth County Armagh border.

Johnson has gotten a considerable bounce since his election and it’s not inconceivable that he would get an overall majority thus having a border in the Irish sea.
