The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is the table a motion in the House of Commons next Monday to hold a general election in the UK on the 12th of December.
It’s understood that Johnson said at a cabinet meeting on Thursday afternoon at holding a general election in December would create a credible deadline for his current Parliament.
If indeed Boris Johnson does manage to hold a general election on the 12th of December and get an overall majority, he could then arguably pass the Brexit deal he proposed last week and finally get Brexit across the line.
It’s anyone’s guess what Labour’s Jeremy Corbyn will do in response to Johnson’s suggestion.
